Grounds

The property sits on ten hectares of gardens, park and woodland which are actively managed and maintained to provide a beautiful, peaceful and private setting.

With summer temperatures regularly exceeding 30°C, the local climate allows for a hugely productive vegetable garden which is located close to the château on the eastern side.

Crops include peppers, strawberries and chillies plus a large array of root vegetables such as potato and beetroot.

There are many productive fruit trees, including, fig, pear, peach and apple alongside other perennial crops such as black, red and white currants and raspberries. A further old orchard is situated on the south-west corner of the property.

A chicken coop is situated further away from the property beyond the remains of the ancient moat, where you will also find the rose walk lined with 100 bushes, heading east from the château.
